The meeting in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, was organized by Bulgarian Management Association. It took place in May, 2014, and was attended by 22 participants from all project partners. In the first day the participants visited a cooperative of people with disabilities “Rila”. The cooperative’s main activity is sewing of clothes and it employs more than 250 persons. At the visits the Manager of the cooperative described the legal framework for the operations of the cooperatives of disabled people. He also gave information on the way the cooperative competes on the free market and about the business partners of the cooperative. In the afternoon the group visited the historical center of the city and the Rila Monastery located 30 km from Blagoevgrad.

On the next day the host organization organized a seminar and training session for the participants. The program was divided into three sessions: Workshop “How to integrate to disabled people to job opportunities”; Discussion of the planning guide “How to integrate the disabled to the labor market more efficiently”; and planning the next steps for the project. At the end all participants filled the forms for evaluation and took their certificates of participation.
